Lead @ 1 1/2, Yankee fans come out of woodwork. It' just CRAP...

Finally. Finally we get to hear from Yankee fans. Why? Because the Yanks have closed the gap to 1 1/2 games. Where the hell were all of you before now? That is just crap...

But remember: You are still in SECOND!

Yanks were finally able to solve D-Rays, but talk about scrapping & scraping for wins. If it weren't for a Cano slam, you wouldn't be writing in today. They are so fortunate with Small. It wasn't really luck, because they picked up about 25 pitchers this season. Throw enough crap against the wall & some will stick...

There's a long way to go folks. Don't expect your rotation to come thru over the next 17 games. This Sox team didn't panic last year down 3-0. Do you really think they're going to blink now - especially with a lead?

Our beloved Sox used to do the same thing to us. We knew they weren't as good as some of the Yankee teams, but we lived an illusion thinking they would overcome them anyway. Sound familiar? The Sox are the better team now, and the Yanks are merely teasing you right now. Maybe the Yanks pull into a tie or even overtake the Sox for a day. It will be much sweeter when the Sox pull it out.

So take your 26 rings and all your history, and keep it where it belongs. In the past. The Sox and the Nation no longer fear you. Hold on to your hat Yankee fans, tables have turned.

WELCOME TO SECOND!!!

let's hear some more about the Schilling comeback.

If you really want to see a collapse, check out the Chisox. The Red Sox are NOT collapsing...

OK, maybe some of you have been around since April. But judging by the # of hits today, you are in the minority...

Schilling didn't seem to have a problem against the Yankee line up last week. Did he?

The Fans on WEEI sound pretty down on the SOX today 9-16-05 3:58pm

Have you ever called in? Know anyone that has? Only the lunatics do...

Panic makes good radio. They screen callers to get to the loonies...

Don't forget last year. This team doesn't panic - especially with a lead. Long way to go...

KEEP THE FAITH!!!

Considering what this blog is about, I find it interesting how pages (like this one) with comments say "Collapse comments"

wow. one year, and look what you're all over. soon enough, the 2004 postseason will become something of the past, just like 1903, 1918, 2003, buckner, and bucky became objects of the past. add to 2004 to that list soon, because if you want to put 26 rings into the history books, you can do the same with 6.

looking forward to see how this year will turn out. good luck to all teams still in contention.

You are sooooo mistaken. The whole point of our site is that the Yanks have the BIGGEST CHOKE in SPORTS HISTORY.

Whenever any team in ANY sport is down 3-0, this will always be brought up. Who brings up old championships anyway? Everyone remembers 2004 for the OTHER reason... That year lives in INFAMY and nothing will ever change it.

We do hope to see the Yanks in the playoffs. It wouldn't be the same if they weren't. Don't get us wrong, we would take some pleasure in it. But deep down, we want it.

Could be a moot point though. Neither team has enough pitching to win it all - unless Schill gets it together that is. We do know this, it will be an exciting ride getting there. See you in Oct!

It will be bettered when it happens in the World Series. Probably be some team that get there often! Gee..who is that?

Bettered? How is that? The Yanks will be down 3-0 in the World Series to their archrival?

Do you really expect to get there with your rotation? Please. Maybe the playoffs. Maybe. Sox fans aren't dillusional enough to think they'll win it all unless Schilling is his pre-injured self.

Pitching wins championships. You don't have enough. Period.

And when you say "often", do you mean the last time you won it, or got there? The Buffalo Bills got "there" 4 years in a row. But no cares because they didn't win.

And the last time you won was?

YEAR 2000! YEAR 2000!

I mean a team that gets there often. Like a team that gets ther 39 times in a 82 year span.
