A "Johnson" & a "Wang" on the DL at the same time?

Can't make this stuff up. It's just too easy.

Big Unit upset yesterday when reporters questioned status of his back. "I haven't been 100% since high school." "It doesn't mean I'm completely healthy..." "Why don't you go talk to the guys who aren't pitching" (insert Kevin Brown here). Yanks security removed reporters shortly after.

He's scheduled to start Tue vs Minn. If I'm the Twins, I bunt & make him run off the mound early on. Could be the start of the decline on the back 9...

Note Kevin Brown "stopping off" at his doctor's office in Colorado yesterday. Is that what they're calling traction these days? Put a fork in him...

This just in....Johnson carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning and tied a season high with 11 strikeouts and Alex Rodriguez homered as the Yankees cruised to a 4-0 victory over the Minnesota Twins .

Johnson was removed from his last start on Thursday after tweaking his back in the sixth inning and bristled at media reports that he might miss his scheduled outing against Minnesota. He took any remaining frustration out on the Twins, who were limited to just a single and a double in eight innings.
Those SOX just can't seem to pull away!

Johnson finally pitched well. Not back to form of last year yet - 11K's is his season high? He did that in his sleep last year. Not to mention the Twins are horrible offensively.

Don't worry about them pulling away. It'll just take a little longer with Clement & Nixon out.

By the way, can we nickname Kevin Brown "scratch"?
