Wow, looks like the Leiter experiment may be coming to an end. Now they have Nomo!!! Good luck with that stiff. Leiter was able to escape with only 1ER, but threw 115 pitches to get thru 5. He gave up 7H & 5BB. Lucky that Minn shot themselves in the foot so many times otherwise it would have been more of a blowout.
Lets see if Yanks can put themselves back to 2 1/2 this afternoon. Don't expect another big outing from Small...

You must write these posts with wishful thinking. Look again at Al's line score. It was the relivers that sucked. Next time don't just read the the book cover, read the book!

OK... 7H, 5BB 100+ pitches in FIVE innings. You consider that a good outing? He was lucky to give up only 1 run. And good point, the relievers sucked too!
I have been a Red Sox fan since 1936. I have suffered a great deal over those years but the "choke" of 2004 was the most wonderful moment in my 80 years on earth. I can now die happy. Bob Kirk
