A Yankee fan seated in the upper deck at Yankee Stadium decided to test the strength of the net behind home plate. He told friends he wanted to see how strong the netting was. He leaped out of his seat from the upper deck onto the net below. He sat stunned for a few moments with his hands over his face, before being taken to the hospital for observation.
Steinbrenner muddled "That was the only exciting thing that happened today".
Just classic NY.
Say what you want about Sox fans, but they're just not this stupid...
