Raffy first big name exposed by Steroid Testing

Raffy, Raffy, Raffy... Wish you hadn't spoken to the Senate Committee now? How is that seat on the Steriod Commission doing? Shouldn't have pointed a finger & said you never did it. You know MLB tested & retested & retested this sample for such a marquis name. No false positive here. GNC you say? Not sure what you took or must have taken it by accident? That's crap. It's your responsibility to know what you're taking regardless.

I hope they crucify this guy. Not MLB, the Senate Committee. Do not let this slide. He lied under oath. Mark McGuire doesn't look so foolish now. He may have ended a chance of getting in the Hall too. What a dope. So disappointing - especially since he just surpassed 3,000 hits. Did he dupe us all? Sure feels like it.

I hope they make an example out of him. Unfortunately it comes down to when he was tested. Since it was probably recent, he cannot be charged with lying under oath. There is little doubt that he was juicing before his statement, but no proof. After his 10 game suspension, his only punishment will be boos at every stadium. If he was teetering on the Hall invite, kiss that goodbye too. He got off easy...

Next up: Giambi? Impressive July numbers raise more than eyebrows...

Come on now....some of us take less then 86 years to come out of a slump...maybe we should have tested the Sox after the series!

What exactly does a slump have to do with Steroids? The whole team must have been juicing?

Man, you guys used to come up with better stuff than that. Just weak...

Our favorite slam is that the Sox players are not clean cut like the Yanks. How'd that work out for Embree the other day?

Dear Staff... This is the comment: "Next up: Giambi? Impressive July numbers raise more than eyebrows..."
This can only refer to steroid use by Giambi and his removeal from the monthly choke list because he is doing so well...so if we test him we should have tested the 2004 Sox!
Embree...no harm done.

First of all, we're not removing him from the Choke list. He deserves all that attention from the beginning of the season.

Note the word "impressive" - implying that we see he is NOW doing well. Don't you find it a little suspicious that all of a sudden he's hitting again - and for power? His batspeed miraculously re-appeared out of nowhere?

Your point about testing the Sox is apples to oranges. It's not like they were horrible all year & then turned it on in the playoffs. Or are you trying to be funny? Leave that to us...

Latest word is that the substance Raffy used was stanozolol. It's not something found in dietary supplements - or places like GNC.

Did he forget about jabbing himself in the ass? Will ESPN writers like Stark & Olney still hold fast regarding their voting him into the Hall?

I hope they reconsider. It's obvious he's been lying all along. No question steriods helped him get to where he is.
