Schilling can't hold on, Yanks back to 3 1/2

Curt Schilling could not hold onto a 2 run lead, blowing his second save attempt and is now 8 of 10. His recent struggles including multiple home runs is starting to scare the Nation. In one of his recent closer shaves, he stated a lack of focus because he wanted to work on some specific pitches.

Should his recent skid be an indication that he's re-injured the ankle? Hopefully he's just a little fatigued. If he's not, we could be in big trouble. You know that they won't rush Foulke back, and Hansen just won't have enough "seasoning" to handle it. Things could be scary over the next few weeks unless the bats are in full force.

Yanks get surprisingly good outing from Wright. Really didn't expect much of anything upon his return. Will be interesting to see if the Big Eunuch goes out tonight. If he does, will he last more than 5?

Don't expect another sweep here, Rays playing a solid 18-12 since the break. Playing some of the best baseball in the majors in second half...
